Dan began building kitchens as an apprentice at 16. Over 24 years, he has helped customers design, build and choose their kitchens, looking after them throughout the process.
Now he runs Elite Kitchen Makeovers in Wakefield. Dan brings door and worktop samples to your home and helps you plan what to keep, what to change and how it will all work together.

Who will come to my home?
Dan Smith, your local Elite kitchen makeover specialist. He has 24 years of experience designing, building and selling kitchens.
Do you have a showroom in Wakefield?
We come to you. Dan brings door and worktop samples so you can see them in your own kitchen, alongside your floor, walls and lighting.
Can I keep my existing kitchen units?
If the units are sound and the layout works, a makeover can update the doors, drawer fronts, worktops and finishing details while keeping the structure. Dan will assess suitability at your design visit.
What are quartz overlay worktops?
8mm solid quartz is made to measure and fitted over suitable existing worktops. Dan will explain the finishes and check whether your worktops are suitable.
How long does a makeover take?
Most makeovers are fitted in 2–3 days once the made-to-measure items are ready. Your schedule will depend on the work agreed for your kitchen.
Is a makeover cheaper than a new kitchen?
Keeping suitable units and the existing layout can save up to 50% compared with a new kitchen. Dan will provide a price for the makeover you choose.
